Is "Me and John finished the sprint" okay at work?

I said this in standup and nobody corrected me. Is it wrong?

Correction

Me and John finished the sprint.

John and I finished the sprint.

Use subject pronoun "I" (not "me") and place yourself second in English politeness convention.

In formal writing and careful speech, put the other person first and use subject pronouns: "John and I finished the sprint." Quick test: remove "John and" — "Me finished" sounds wrong, so use "I".
